Splinter Of Life

Poem

Splinter of Life, take haste, take hold! Quicken the breath, awaken the soul!

Spirit of Light, take fast, take form! Slower the pulse, anger the storm!

Sun, SUN.. go AWAY! Come again another day.

Rain, rain.. Come out and play. Beyond dark clouds no light should ray.

The days..ate me alive, all that’s left were fragments of me.

In ways..The Splinter of Life, it gets under the skin’s attachment to me.

So, have a nice life, take leave, take care!

I let you under my skin and didn’t notice you there!

Splinter of Life, take note, take turning!

My love is the reason why the flames are still burning!

Sun, SUN.. go AWAY! Come again another day.

Rain, rain.. Come out and play. Tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes.

The music..kept me alive, but I’ve got one foot with my heel down.

Reclusive..The Splinter of Life, grow root within my still ground.
