The king has risen from his ever deep slumber,

Searching for any snack no matter the number.

Quickly he moves to greet his loving attendant,

Who graciously adorns him his crystalline pendant.

The day is long and plans must be met,

But hunger isn't curbed until it is set.

His table is small and the plate just as so,

The first course of the day moves ever so slow.

He moves with a vengeance that gives him an edge,

Its right in his name that we knowingly pledge.

Upon finishing his meal he moves out to explore,

A world full of adventure enlightens his core.

Following behind we watch were he goes,

Making sure he doesn't meet those unruly foes.

His adventure finished he returns to his bed,

Softly resting that ever so spiny head.
