Spectrums of Life

all we feel and may not see

By Terrence Published 5 years ago 1 min read

I race between extremes of our visible spectrum

Spending months dwelling in the deepest violets

luminescing in stark sterility,

Every so often skyrocketing so fast to a fiery red

my eyes well from its welcomed warmths.

I don’t choose red or purple

and rarely spend anytime in the beautiful in-between

but my possibilities always illuminate in gold

and my maple tinted view never diminishes their light.

The waining warrior in me never fails to once again wax.

To trapse through the grinning hues of green well above the ground

vibrating back to life the light in me

which others may not wish to see.
