This is inspired by Alyson Smith's challenge to write a haiku a day for 50 days, inspired by songs and lyrics that are special to her.
Today I've chosen one of my favourite songs by probably my favourite of the original British punk bands (and yes I know they went onto experiment more and more and loved them for that), The Clash.
I would normally pick a Joe Strummer song but love Mick Jones vocals on this one and have always identified with the lyrics. Enjoy, Lost in the Supermarket.
