I dreamt that I was full of maggots;

A writhing, roiling mass – a sick morass of filth and flesh

Engorged with blood.

I dreamt that I was full of maggots,

Crawling through my skin – in my organs, in my veins,

Eating at my brain.

I dreamt that I was full of maggots,

And I had to fish them out; scooping awful, gloopy handfuls

From my bloated gut.

I dreamt that I was full of maggots,

And I still remember how it felt;

The putrid smell...

My anguished yells...

The pussy, oozing welts…

I had a dream

of Hell.
