Spatial Inspiration
Day One of 50 Days of Senryu Inspired by Music
I read about this on Paul's account, and it sounded amazing! Kudos to Alyson for coming up with such a cool idea!
I might not manage to do 50 days in a row, but I will do 50 posts for sure.
And although Alyson's original idea was to write haikus inspired by the lyrics of songs that she felt close to, I decided to make it a little different.
I'll be sharing whatever pops into my head about whatever song is looping in there when I decide to write the poem.
I know there will be some cool stuff and some really trashy stuff. Probably more of the second kind, if we're honest. Too often I get "infected" by a new Dutch earworm from my partner.
Apologies to everyone who expected only serious and meaningful songs!
This will be a wild ride.
But not today.
Today we have a lovely instrumental track that helps me gather ideas for my stories.
Oh, how many worlds
Enveloping me, tight, now
May I write them all?
