Sparrow Nest

Two eggs in a sparrow nest

In a sparrow's nest,

I find my rest,

Where nature's song fills the air,

A cozy haven, woven with care,

A tiny home, the world's best.

With twigs and leaves,

a perfect blend, A sanctuary up high it suspends,

A refuge for love, where dreams ascend,

In a sparrow's nest,

my heart transcend.

In the heart of the meadow,

where the willows sway,

There nestled a sparrow,

making a nest of genius.

With feathers so tender,

she laid two precious gems,

Two fragile little treasures,

her resource in branchy stems.

Well-wrought! I love watching the birds. They are my constant companions everywhere I go. And from their high perches, they must certainly be amused by our antics as well!
