Space

The endlessness of space is wild.

When I was a kid I never noticed

but as you grow up

your sense of the world grows up.

It takes a mind who is willing to drift off

to find the meaning of space.

It took me years to put my mind out of my soul.

And when I did I felt so small.

For I saw that the world is vast.

And the world belongs to a solar system that is vast.

And the solar system belongs to space oh so vast.

We are fragments of fragments.

We are nothing in the scheme of things.
