Sound the alarm

Time waits for no man

Start Common, the spark
Brightness from dark
Poised on the precipice
Plunging to the end of us

Leap forth, oh eyes to see
Leap forth, oh ears to hear
A cry. Gasping for breath
Time, furthest from death

Now washed clean
A memories dream
Time,
Tick
Tock
Tick
Tock
Tick
New clock

New day dawns
New life spawns
But it's not you
You're not New

That look in your eyes
As fading light dies
Like an itch you can't scratch
Its game, set, match

We are alive
Each in our mind
Our own clock
Striking in time

While many seek
It's more rare to find
The singular thing
Our own inner mind
