Souls are things we need to protect.
We need to treat them like a good gardener treats a plant.
But we are bad gardeners.
We are good at the start.
Feed them, Water them, Watch them grow.
Once we're halfway done growing them,
Humans stop feeding them and watering them.
We forget to grow them.
We allow them to shrivel up, dehydrated and malnourished
Then, if we continue to treat them like a plant,
They are dead.
We take care of them.
Gather them.
Crumble them.
Burn them.
