Despite our abuse, she provides our air

With bright greens and blues and all their hues

But we won't stop to love for her, we won't dare

.

We dig and mine looking for all that is rare

While the balance tilts towards entropy

Despite our abuse, she provides our air

.

We pollute the oceans with no care

With no self reflection, continuing to kick the can

But we won't stop to love for her, we won't dare

.

With clouds of smoke, like incense during prayer

Factories of plastic turn blue skies grey

Despite our abuse, she provides our air

.

The almighty dollar is what we declare

The market will fix it, no matter the cost

But we won't stop to love for her, we won't dare

.

We are no longer ignorant or unaware

The signs are too strong for us to ignore

Despite our abuse, she provides our air

But we won't stop to love for her, we won't dare
