SORROWS OF LIFE

IMPERFECT

By Godwil Bradon Published 3 years ago • 1 min read

I envy everything about him, I feel like breaking my every limb, His perfect smile and body, And the way he surrounds himself with everybody.

I envy his style, And his perfect life, Maybe it is all a lie, But why does it make me feel like I am about to die.

I envy his smile, Brings the whole room to life, Oh, what a delight, Being him must be nice.

I hate myself, For being envious of him, Why won't the world swallow me whole, Oh, how I hate myself.

Maybe things will get better, As my hopes and dreams scatter, And the envy in me will be in the gutters, Oh, how I pray for this day.
