while i am sometimes alone

somewhere there is someone who is hated

while i am loved

somewhere there is someone who is poor

while i have plenty

somewhere there is someone who is desperate

while i am at peace

somewhere there is someone who is afraid

while i feel safe

somewhere there is someone about to be born

somewhere there is someone about to die

each someone is someone’s someone
