Sometimes in life

just an emotion

By Aesthetic loverPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Sometimes in life, you don't always get what you want.

And it's okay to let it hurt, let it be.

I know these emotions feel like a deep sorrow and a truck full of load hitting you — where you're begging from deep within for hope to move on.

You keep fighting yourself over and over again.

You keep telling yourself it's okay, but you feel tired...

You act like you understand — do you really want to?

You just want to be left alone, but you don't want your actions to hurt your close ones...

What is this heavy feeling?

It numbs me all the time.

But I get up every time, fighting and seeking for myself again — the one that I have lost while reaching out for others.

I get up thinking about how far I have come.

For a second, I close my eyes and I see my loved ones — how grateful I am for them to be there.

I fight it for them.

And I fight it for me...

Because I have hope.
