Sometimes A Crappy Day

Life isn't always about the absolute. It's about that "sometimes" that usually fills your life. And sometimes, it's a crappy day.

I.

Sometimes,

I simply wait

for the setting sun

for I know,

another crappy day

is at bay.

II.

These days feel

like the rule

for all days.

This can’t be so

So I wish for an end on

another crappy day.

III.

Dreams falter,

stagnation supreme

where’s all the glory

and beauty on

days like these?

IV.

Bored to tears.

Saddened until

I’m sick of being sad

for another crappy day.

V.

So when the sun sinks

into that cool Pacific Sea

I count the time that day will end.

For I know,

When the sun sets

Another crappy day

is at bay.
