Dealing with Dementia

Sometimes

It's happening all over the world

But sometimes I feel all alone.

Sometimes when I walk in the room

he smiles and he kisses me on the

hand, and sometimes he just looks at

me trying to remember who I am.

It's happening all over the world

but sometimes I feel all alone.

Sometimes he laughs and tells a funny

story and sometimes he cries because

he can't remember his name, his home

or that I am family.

It's happening all over the world

but sometimes I feel all alone.

Always...I wish with all my heart

to be able to stop his pain and

sometimes I remember I am not alone.
