something was torn from me

An inexplicable thing that I know is missing but now it’s hollow

So deeply hollow it feels worse than bottom of a deep empty hole that’s been gutted clean

Your eyes are caverns of fire

My eyes are hollows of water

Your kisses a line of highly abused substances

My hug a sea that collapsed in your punches

The last time I remember having this was before I laid soft eyes on you

The water was only a tiny little puddle

Now it’s a gulf

Between the sun and the moon is the very bottom of the sky

I cannot imagine a gravity so full of something so intensely dense

Something was torn up in me and thrown out

Do you remember the last time you could feel it before it was

Ripped away?
