We are bifurcated
Supporters vs non-supporters
Those who rally and not
Haves and have nots split
further than ever
Somewhere along the line
Somehow
We've lost sight of what
it means to be American
One nation under God
What God?
Money?
Greed?
Superiority?
Manifest destiny?
Somehow
We've lost sight of the fact
That most of us weren't the first
Americans
Somehow
We need
To bridge some gaps
To see eye to eye
To come together as a nation
Somehow
