Solitude

My Friend

Solitude, my faithful friend,

In quiet nights, with you I blend.

No need for words to remind me so,

That you're always here, this I know.

Through streets we walk, avoiding the light,

In shadows we wander, hiding from sight.

People say I walk alone,

Not knowing that with you, I roam.

People come, and people go,

But you stay loyal, this I know.
