Soldiers of Fortune
a poem inspired by difficult times on earth

Soldiers of fortune, brave and bold,
Their stories of valour will never grow old.
From distant lands they come to fight,
For freedom and justice, with all their might.
Their armor gleams in the morning sun,
As they march to battle, one by one.
Their swords and shields at the ready,
Their hearts and souls, always steady.
Through fire and smoke, they charge ahead,
With courage and honor, they never dread.
Their enemies fall, one by one,
As they fight until the battle is won.
Their scars and wounds, a testament true,
To the sacrifices they make for me and you.
For they are the guardians of our land,
The soldiers of fortune, a noble band.
So let us honor them, one and all,
For their bravery and sacrifice, we stand tall.
For they are the ones who keep us free,
The soldiers of fortune, for eternity.
