Dear Social Media,
I hear kids wasting their time away,
Staring at a screen,
No longer playing outside.
I see adults ponder their time,
Getting news from any source.
It seems you build people up,
then break them down,
I hope we can one day meet at the middle,
Bring back play and make times of past stay.
I wish more people would trust reputable sources,
Not read one thing only to contradict the other.
Wish we could unite and not fight,
I wish people continue to make speeches in open fields,
Fight for what is right,
Not out of spite.
Sincerely,
an 80's Child.

An 80s child, and I feel this deeply!
Wonderfully written and definitely concur with your facts and fiction!!! Loving it!!!
Totally agree. Just read the story next to yours, so similar in context. Kids are missing the world, by the time they realize it, they will be adults with bills and such.
