They say it represents strength, like fighting through night terrors that come from alcohol withdrawal while laying in bed

Crimson

Like the dark wines that stained my lips and fogged my mind

Not a drunk, but a binge drinker;

One, two, three, four- just to unwind

Vermilion

The color of the lights on the dance floor I loved so much

I got so stupid the more they poured

Bukowski said it best when he penned that fun wasn't found at the bottom of fine wine

And so I'm done drinking, cutting ties with drinks I once adored

Strength is what it took to finally draw the line

Salmon sunsets mean so much more
