Words are emotions, hope, contempt, In words, there is also respect. Has anyone ever truly been satisfied just by these words, Or was there a void within, which could never be filled? In every 'thank you,' there is a hidden prayer, In every eye, a deep hope rests. Emotions, in search of just a small reason for gratitude, It is not just to express thankfulness. Rather, it is a deep truth that is expressed without words. Thank you so much! Only words bring comfort, The heart desires nothing else now, just this peace. Have I ever thanked myself? Is this any less, or more than words and good intentions? The search for 'thank you' is just a momentary thing, But don't I feel the need to embrace it, And give that respect to others, Which is not given unconditionally by anyone? Isn't this the real meaning of 'thank you'? Or, it means; you want more thank you's?
