So I asked the Universe

And the universe said...

By Adam KolozettiPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

I asked the universe,

Why is it so hard?

And the universe said nothing.

I asked the universe,

Will you give me that?

And the universe said nothing

I asked the universe,

Show me a sign,

And the universe said nothing.

I asked the universe,

Who am I?

And the universe said nothing.

So I said to the universe,

Fine.  I’ll tell you why it’s so hard.

And the universe said nothing.

So I said to the universe,

This is who I need to become to receive that,

And the universe said nothing.

So I said to the universe,

I don’t need a sign.  I’ll make my own.

And the universe said nothing.

So I said to the universe,

I am all that I am.

And the universe said nothing.

And I finally sat and listened.

And together we said nothing.
