So Easily

late nights, no lights, just me and the plan

turned nothing to something with blood on my hands

they smile for themselves but they don’t understand

the price that I paid just to stand where I stand

I don’t do the pity, don’t do the regret

I bet on myself when they placed all the bets

they fold under pressure, I rise from the sweat

I’m building a legacy they won’t forget

so easily they switch when the money get low

I stay ten toes wherever I go

they smile in your face but the eyes stay cold

I peep every move, I already know

they fold when the pressure turn up like the heat

I stay in the kitchen, I cook up the beat

they chase what is shiny, I chase what is deep

I build what is solid while they chase the cheap
