Snowfall of Defiance
Poetry inspired by Game of Thrones
In the twilight of despair, arrows danced in the air,
Brother's desperate dash, a perilous affair.
Snow, on horseback swift, a savior's intent,
Yet fate intervened, a brother's life misspent.
Rage aflame, alone he charged, an avenging storm,
Arrow-pierced kin, a heart in mourn.
Horse and rider fell, a dire cost,
Regret whispered, as the battle was lost.
Yet Snow rose, unbowed, a lone tempest tossed,
Sheath cast aside, defiance in the air.
A stand against doom, a solemn dare,
Sword in hand, ready for the final dance.
In the quiet pause, regret's soft embrace,
For anger led to this perilous chase.
But as death loomed near, regret gave way,
To face the end, no words to say.
Enemy hooves thundered, a relentless tide,
Yet Snow, undeterred, in shadows bide.
In the face of death, a warrior's plea,
To perish swinging, wild and free.
