”Onto our next adventure”

Were the words you spoke

As you took me by the hand

Together, we went on an adventure

That would lead to my sullen demise

Swept away by the tide

Left to drown in a deep blue sea

The very night your eyes met mine

How cunning of you to wear a disguise

When all along you were the antagonist

And I was Snow White

After one bite of the poisoned apple

I fell into a peaceful slumber without a fight

You created the perfect fairytale

Written in a book that is far from sight

Tucked away within the depths of my mind

Buried in a dark place no one will ever find

Mirror, mirror on the wall

I drank your poison and took the fall

Into a pit of darkness

Only to be resurrected

As the fairest one of them all
