The art of creating or is it the creating of art?

It pleases the soul

It satisfies the heart

Bringing a project from bits to full creative flow is the passion that drives me to distraction and flow

I love to create mixed media art

choosing to use feather leaves, paper, paint and much more to bring to life this art

one such day I felt a spark

A giant leaf I had spied at the park

Early morning walks a joy when you create art

down I scurried with scissors in hand to grab the leaf before it fell to the ground.

As I approached the leaf let go

It flowed unhurriedly to the grass below

But there in the grass at the base of a leaf

Sat a beautiful spent dandelion seed

Ahh I sighed scissors ready to snip

Thank you for the creative hit

I hurried home with leaf and flower ready to paint

Create and receive

the flowing energy that would all be mine

I snipped and I cut paper, string and some vine

I glued and painted an abstract divine

I love to paint and create this way who knows how it's going to turn about

But hey who cares that's arts way
