SNAIL
Slowly and steadily, it makes its way,
Slowly and steadily, it makes its way,
Slimy and slippery, day by day,
Searching for sustenance, under the leaves,
Snail's journey, a pace it weaves.
Spiraling shell, a home on its back,
Safeguarding the snail, from any attack,
Soft and delicate, to the touch,
Snail's resilience, never too much.
Savoring the dew, in the early morn,
Slinking away, before the day is born,
Satisfying hunger, with every bite,
Snail's persistence, shining bright.
Slowing down time, in a world of haste,
Snail's tranquility, a welcome taste,
Slithering along, with a graceful glide,
Snail's beauty, impossible to hide.
Surviving in the shadows, or out in the light,
Snail's tenacity, a wonderful sight,
Slow and steady, with a gentle pace,
Snail's simplicity, we cannot replace.
