"Why do you smoke?"
"Why do you choose to ruin yourself?"
"You're toxic."
Smoking has not meant a thing to me,
I inhale the pleasure and I release the pressure.
People think if they scare me with death that I can stop.
People think I do not know what I am doing to my own body.
"That's bad for you, ya know?"
These people are the ones who do not get it.
I am more toxic to myself than these cigarettes could ever be.
You're words do not hurt me, they pierce me.
The cigarettes do not hurt me, they heal me.
I am at a loss constantly, fighting a battle with myself.
I would be okay if I died yesterday, or tomorrow or next week.
Because people think smoking is bad,
but they do not know that I am too.
