Smoke from the Ancestors 🔥💨

How long does the spark go back?

By Gabriel B. ShamesPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

In the cloudy puff, I see a path back — back, back, back — back into the eons.

The swirling smoke for the people was seen as a bridge between our world and the spirit world. And the smoke remains for us a bridge to those people. The ancestors.

I can feel the eyes of those who don’t know or believe almost anything that we do.

But they show us a way… a way we’ve lost. No matter how advanced we become in our realm, we’ll never be able to send messages and magic upon the air.

That’s what they did, what they do, through the sacred smoke.
