“Some days
the win is just
that you didn’t quit.
That counts more than you think.”
Some days seem really tough,
and what we need to remember
at the end of those days
is that
‘we didn’t quit and we did our best.’
In times of hardship,
we cannot always think clearly,
we just carry on through our day.
At the end of the day,
look in the mirror
and
smile at yourself.
Say out loud:
“You did it!
You got through a difficult day,
be proud of yourself!”
This will
build up your confidence
and
make you ‘feel’ good.
This is so good
for your mental and emotional well-being.
This message,
that simply enduring through a difficult day is a “win”,
strengthens our belief
and
our faith in ourselves.
Embracing this
supports our hold on life.
