Slumber Deep

Yet Lightly

Thin warm sand

Sun's warm embrace

There I stand

My unfathomable face

Crystal blue flows of water caress

Slowly i let it carry me

Weight of a feather, perhaps even less

As if flying, in deep sea

Darkness below, a bright star above

I embrace it all

So does it, with love

Of immense vastness do I hear the call

I fall surely, into peaceful slumber

In my bubble of the soul

Here nothing reaches, not even thunder

Not even my sorrows

Only rest for the mind

The star above grows

With beauty it shines, it blinds

I take it with me

Indefinitely

And with it, into the sea
