Slow Burn

An eternal fire

Slow Burn

03.01.26

Im a whisper in the wind

A current in the ocean

Im a slow burn thats eternal

My works proceed me

An episode of thoughts displayed in the eye of the beholder

Connection transcends all understanding here

Vivid imagery painted on life's canvas

Bare witness to universal transformation

Becoming undone through sensory experiences

No words spoken only feelings sparking new ideas and complex concepts heard felt and understood between my celestial flows and the consuming fire you carry

Each thought painted stroke becomes a masterpiece by divine souls

That moves the heart through optical illusions curated by a universal kiss of passion and curiosity through expansion and unconditional love

Hello, I'm Jasper Rei The Artist. I'm from Richmond, Va. I took a little break from writing poetry to create music. But I'm back to my poetic habit. This piece is a reconnection back to poetry where I like to let my mind roam freely. It's been a while since I've written anything, so I'm a little rusty at this. Lately, I've been on a journey going inside myself to see what I can find, capture, and curate. This work of art is a safe space where I can play with my words as I dream in color. I chose to keep it based in reality as life has been sobering me up. So on to new things. Thank you for taking the time to read my work. It's always a pleasure to share vivid scenes as my mind peaks. You can connect with me on Threads @jasperreimusic or Instagram @jasperreitheartist2. I just started releasing music this year. To hear my latest EP,Penthouse Poetry, stream it on Spotify, YouTube, and AppleMusic. See you next time. Until then keep shining. Thank you so much!
