The vast blue sky turns pink at dawn.

Have you ever wondered why?

The vast blue sky turns orange at dusk.

Have you ever thought why?

The vast blue sky turns grey in the rains.

Have you ever asked why?

The vast blue sky is cracked by lightening in a storm.

Have you ever sought why?

The vast blue sky turns pitch dark at night,

Sprinkled with stars and the moon to give it light.

Have you ever dreamt why?

Does god have a paintbrush, and a palette of colours,

And a canvas that stretches from horizon to horizon?

Painting on it, I would like to try.

If God could pull me up there, only for a day,

To paint on his canvas with him in a play-way?

Because great God seems so unreachable up there –

I wont be able to climb all the way!
