Protect your self please

Too Much Sun

The sun feels warm,

it shines so bright,

makes the day

glow full of light.

But every time

you skip the shade,

your skin remembers

what you gave.

It burns, it peels,

it turns deep red,

even hurts

to lie in bed.

Too much sun

can leave a mark.

It doesn’t only

bring a spark.

Wear your hat,

use sunscreen too,

protect the skin

that carries you.

Enjoy the light,

but don’t forget:

healthy skin

is your best bet.

You think it’s gold,

but it’s not kind.

It leaves its scars,

it steals your shine.

Skin cancer grows

in too much light.

So cover up.

Stay out of sight
