Skeptic or Believer

by Zack Lee

By Zack LeePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Within these wisps of pale grey smoke

A movement is captured, swift like a black fly

My attention is seized

I want to believe

Cool greens, muted blues surround and unfurl

They beckon for me

Growling, whining

Unable to relax

Purple as an Autumn plum

Or every shade of blue?

Concentrate, soak it up

Where warmth once settled in

Darkness envelops

Drained from my skin

Shadows hover and green figures protrude

Strange movements

Keep focused

Subdued

All perception is absent

It is gone

Cool yellows enter and flood the room

What makes me unique?

I want to believe

Do you?
