Sister Survivor, you’ve had it rough.

Yes, you still bear the scars,

But you must stay tough enough

To hang all your wishes among the stars.

Though tribulations afflict your soul

Tripping you along life’s way

Your wise eyes still envision your goal --

Keeping in your heart the beautiful sun’s ray.

My Sister Survivor, dear hero, never cease

To continue to go after the dream.

The enduring strength of your smile brings peace

To the heart like a comforting stream.

Remember that survivors keep on surviving

With the loving guidance of God

May your undying courage keep on arriving --

From the powerful heavens where angels have trod.
