Singularity Today

Forever is such a lonely place

Singularity today

No longer near, it´s final here.

Tomorrow gone before too long.

Yesterday is a haze in the shadows of forever.

Better than never, no need to surrender,

a future that has no end.

So many lifetimes to live,

so much to give,

I so wanted to live.

You must forgive.

These times are grand, so much at hand.

A mind of forever gets all so clever,

perhaps we should never go on forever.

Merged with machine, a soul so clean

that even a eternity has so little to be seen.

Devoted to man, such grand plans.

No life of own, I´ve grown so cold.

More like machine for all I´ve seen.

Maybe forever is not so great, maybe its something

we should forsake.
