Silver-Tongued

My last story is for me

Locked in a lighthouse

Sobbing a diamond and sapphire sea

Drawing up buckets to gaze upon my likeness

Painstakingly setting it into platinum rings

I distribute them to every sister I meet

I fear the whole world

Will be decked in jewels at this rate

Door blocked with an unbreakable web of fears

Finally free, I sailed away on my cabochon sea

Smooth and glassy, I don’t make a wave

The azure skies blanketed my frame

Forever, my home this story I'm weaving

Reading by the pearly moonbeams

Singing silver-tongued verses of the evergreen past

While the eerie night light

Plaits shafts of stardust into my hair

Turning Muscovite pages

Filled with images of my treacherous life

Dropping read leaves

As I finish the passage of each day

Permanently destroying the proof of my stay

On the mottled spinning jewel

We all carve our marks

When my ship settles

The pool is ice cold and

Obsidian black
