I swear,

I’ve trod this path before,

Perhaps once, maybe more,

But no recollection of when,

And just myself to implore,

I defrag memories, and shuffle thoughts to rearrange

But duration feels unknown,

How long have I been estranged?

And how do you find a man,

Unaware he’s gone astray?

Call me a swan if you want,

But I’ve got no song to play.
