Finding peace in the quiet war within
Deep breaths,
eyes closed—
a smirk hoping to grow into a smile.
The battle between growth

Searching the soul
is never easy—

Nullifying doubt
breeds self-security,
and lets peace rise from within.
Every bruise
is a lesson worth keeping.
