The hand that once felt so reassuring, holding on so tightly,

When that hand suddenly, out of neglect or disregard,

Lets go in an instant,

Leaving you shattered and crushed into the dust of the road,

It's like the highest magnitude of an earthquake

That shakes you from within,

Shattering everything in an instant.

Why do people become like this?

If you're going to leave, then say so and

Take your leave.

No complaints, no objections,

They simply let go and silently walk away.

For the rest of your life, you keep searching for the reason

Why they let go,

Why they left,

Feeling deeply humiliated in the process.

People are such selfish creatures,

It doesn't take long to become someone’s dear one when needed,

And when the need is over,

It doesn't take long to leave without a word,

Without any reason.
