Silenced
When You Feel Trapped, Against Your Will
By Kristal SchlichtingPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Almost nothing is here.
Should i run is my biggest fear.
It's a dark place, but you open up.
Even if the other side is shut.
I stare at the sun to see who wins.
Wondering how they've caged me in.
I do what it takes, keep them proud.
Only doses away from being loud.
Days blended in until goodbye.
I'm finally given my own time.
I pack my things in a paper bag.
Shut the door, no more name tag.
Everyday is still the same.
Wondering what has really changed.
If you knew what I really knew,
you wouldn't judge the things I do.
