Silence the Projector
Moving from mental rehearsal to mindful acceptance
Your mind is like a projector that never stops,
repeatedly rehearsing things that haven't even happened yet,
worrying about variables that haven't even arrived.
We always think that "thinking more" is being responsible,
but often, the more we think, the more exhausted our hearts become.
"If it can be solved, don’t worry; if it can’t be solved, worrying is useless." It sounds simple, but it is the highest logic for navigating life.
If a difficulty has a solution,
use the energy you would have spent worrying to find it.
If the matter is ultimately beyond your control,
anxiety is just borrowing future pain—
it does nothing to change the outcome.
People who habitually "think one step ahead"
usually have delicate and responsible hearts.
But the future is full of variables;
instead of fighting imaginary enemies in your mind,
it is better to learn to calmly accept every possibility.
Letting go of pointless internal conflict isn't passive escapism.
It is a powerful form of optimism—believing in your ability to handle things as they improve,
and having the composure to accept setbacks with equanimity.
May we all cultivate a heart free from worry and fear in this chaotic world.
Leave tomorrow's problems to tomorrow's self!
