Silence

Being ghosted

Silence is the most deafening sound,

Sometimes I wish I would sink to the ground.

Wish you would say something even if to chide,

Can’t stand not being able to read you, want to run and hide.

Not sure my thoughts are unreasonable,

But getting you to see eye to eye with me seems unfeasible.

I want nothing more from you than closure,

Even though I gave and gave when you wanted my exposure.

Please help me because I am losing my mind,

I just need to hear if I ever mattered at all in your find.

Did you manipulate me to do your bidding,

Then walk away when I could no longer your ego feeding?

This silence is killing me, please end it now,

I need to move on and this pain must go.
