----
What do you hear in the silence between us
Does it make you wish for another
Or maybe make you feel more at home
Do you hear my screaming mind
Searching for conversation
I hope you do
Then maybe we’d have something to talk about
Instead of murmuring silence
---
Here in this room
There’s only silence
An empty box
I spend my nights in
Packed with artifacts
Of who I was
And only me
To mourn the loss
I see the self
I so wanted to be
And a fleshy sack that
Makes up me
The colours are dulled
And I’m not sure what the time is
So I lay in the dark
Cold silence
