I pedal my bike, I run, I cry

So many shadows and people. don’t exist

I hear all the voices, I close my eyes.

Old men, black cloaks, hide in disguise.

I run inside. I know this is it.

My mind is so sick, my life isn’t mine.

So I pedal my bike, run fast, and I cry,

Think of the girl, no one knows, I still hide.

But Lay down in the dark and close the blinds

One year it has been that she saved my life

Why me, there’s no way. I’ll stay locked inside

One year from today I promise I tried

For a while I didn’t think that I could stay,

So I tried so hard to just go away.

In the hospital bed i felt paralyzed,

Psychosis.

Bipolar.

Messed up in the mind.

But this made me stronger, hold on to the now

And who I am now, I’ll always ask how.

So much has happened,

I never came out.

But someday, maybe, I’ll finally be proud.
