THE FIRST LAW

Silently unanchored,

I ride capricious winds,

Leading me toward you;

Even with obstacles,

Nuanced potholes pock the substrate,

Commandeer my motion

En route to you

.

THE SECOND LAW

Subsequent forces

Impale me with urgency

Lightening my load

Even as I accelerate,

Negligently releasing the steering wheel,

Come what may

Eventually

.

THE THIRD LAW

Seeking, reaching, grasping,

Interception in a silent gestalt;

Locked together, interacting,

Equal torques —

Notwithstanding

Conservation of our angular momentum:

Equally and opposite, yet unspoken, engagement

.

Acrostic
