The lilac and lavender
Faith, come undone
Like a viral scavenger
The day is new
Yet the sky is dark
This is song is unsung
The death of a lark
A new age dawns
A shift in the sky
Forced yet unquestioned
A want without lie
Discover the dawn
Orange and red, blind
Not knowing its color
The murderous kind
With blood in the air
A weapon, life’s beat
Discover the Hades
Kneel at its feet
There is no bright sky
Only death to be seen
